What is involved in a home inspection?
During the inspection I take pictures of the home and complete an electronic report using software on my hand held device. My inspection covers areas including Electrical, Plumbing, Appliances, the Attic, Structure, Grounds, Exterior, Roof and Living Spaces.
How much time does a home inspection take?
The length of an inspection depends on the condition and the size of the home. Home inspections usually take about 2 to 2 ½ hours to complete.
Do you have an Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera?
Yes. I use this camera in every home inspection. An Infrared Camera makes temperatures visible. Heat loss or gain, moisture intrusion, water leaks and insulation issues can be located.
Do you have a license to inspect homes in Alberta?
Yes. The license granted to me by the Government of Alberta ensures that I meet the legal requirements to practice in Alberta. My Home Inspector License number is 342161.
Are you a member of a professional association?
Yes. As a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, I must follow the Association’s Standards and Code. This ensures a comprehensive home investigation. My Association membership number is NACHI15052206.
